Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 to 48 hours

UK orders for delivery to UK Mainland address (this excludes Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland) have 2 delivery options: Standard Hermes 2-3 day Delivery – £4.99 & Expedited Next Day Delivery – £7.99

To benefit from our combined postage you need to use the eBay basket (cart) and not “Buy It Now”.

Couriers will require a signature to ensure safe receipt of your goods. If you are not available to collect and sign on the courier’s first visit, a calling card will be left with the courier’s contact number to arrange re-delivery. Our courier’s will deliver until 9pm in most areas!

If nobody is at address at the time of delivery, the courier may attempt to deliver to a neighbour, where a calling card will be left advising the details of delivery.

Please note that you must contact us via eBay message in the first instance of non-receipt of your order. We will be unable to assist if contacted after 14 working days of the order being placed.

Unfortunately we are unable to make changes to orders once they have been placed and therefore please ensure all details are correct

UK Delivery Option: Standard Delivery

If you do not select the express delivery option you will receive your goods via Hermes standard delivery. We aim to have all accepted UK orders placed before 6pm dispatched within 1-2 working days, although this time may be extended if your order is placed close to a UK bank or public holiday. Standard delivery is £4.99

UK Delivery Option: Next Day Delivery

Express Next Day Delivery is not available for certain areas of the UK including the Highlands and the Channel Islands. For a full list of available postcodes please contact our Customer Services team. If the delivery destination is located in an area where express delivery is not available, your order will be delivered as soon as possible.

Orders must be placed before 4pm to receive items the following working day. Also if orders are placed on a Friday, delivery will be made on Tuesday.

Please note we are currently unable to deliver to PO Boxes

Bulky Items such as tennis tables and gym equipment require a two-man delivery. Two-man delivery takes 4-5 working days and the courier will call the customer to arrange delivery the day before.

Returns

We do our best to ensure all of our customers enjoy a happy shopping experience with SportsDirect, however occasionally you may need to return an item. You will find full returns instructions on the invoice which we send out with your order. Please fill out the necessary details at the bottom of your invoice clearly stating the reason for return. You can also open eBay return request specifying the exact reason for returning the item

You can send them back for a full refund within 30 days, provided it has not been used or fitted and is returned with any packaging that forms part of the goods with a valid proof of purchase. Please note it is the customers’ responsibility to cover the cost of return. We recommend that customers used tracked postage and keep proof of postage when sending the order/item back. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

We try and process all returns as quickly as possible for you to get your refund. Refunds are processed within a week of having returned the item but occasionally it may take longer. Refunds will be processed through eBay using original method payment

If your item is faulty, please complete and include the returns form with your goods when sending it back to us. Please retain your proof of postage as we will need that to reimburse you the cost of the return for the faulty items. This will be done once the return has been processed.

Our Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights (whereby you have 14 days from the date of delivery of your purchase(s) to notify us of a cancellation, followed by 14 days from the date of notification to return the unwanted purchase(s)), you have 28 days after the day on which the items are delivered to you (or someone receives the items for you) or you collect your items from one of our stores (UK Mainland only) to change your mind and return the items back to us
